Join us for an experience of PURE RHYTHM…PURE ENERGY! Don’t miss out on this casual party packed with fun activities for everyone. The jam will contain an entire spectrum of tap/rhythmic goodies… from classic show choreography to our special feature of “from-the-soul” rhythmic improvisation!
NO EXPERIENCE is required (Programme will consists of demos/improv and mini-workshops for ALL, incl. non-tappers).

Looking for a weekend Rhythm Tap class?
As an alternative in case weekends are better for you (or anyone you know who may be interested in Rhythm Tap!)...
Rhythm Tappers @ Malaysia & Federal Academy of Ballet are pleased to announce a new beginners' Level 1 class as flws:
Day/Time: Sat 4:15-5:15pm*
Start Date: 26 Jan
Fees: RM 80 per month
Venue: Federal Academy of Ballet (Wisma Right Angle, Section 14)
Description: The Level 1 level is the foundation level of rhythm tap. Learn to groove and move to basic rhythm using a variety of music, from jazz to R&B, pop and hip hop! Work will begin with the introduction of "tap alphabets"; class will generally consists of exercises and combination/full dances
*For 1st class, come dressed in comfy clothing and covered shoes that won't slip off when you go up on tip toe. Pls come at least 15 -30 min early for registration etc.

**Sparkling** New Beginners' Level 1 Tap, Mon 9:30pm

Rhythm Tappers @ Malaysia & Havana Estudio are pleased to announce a new beginners' Level 1 class as flws:
Day/Time: Mon, 9:30-10:30pm*
Start Date: 14 Jan
Fees: RM 80 per 4 consecutive classes
Venue: Havana Estudio (34B, Persiaran Zaaba, Taman Tun Dr Ismail)

Heya All,
We wind down 2007...Firstly, we had our "Family Affair" Tap Jam and what a great way it was to end our 2007 "actual tap" roster. All the tappers did well with the presentations and what a lovely/participative crowd!
This past Sat (Dec 8) was our annual tap party. The Brickhouse was an absolutely delight and having enough space to "roam" around (it being an actual house and all) was a nice change from being in a service apartment. And our "special 3-step concoction" drink was a HIT! That was of course until the absolutely delicious, yummy dinner was served, haha.
Another tapful year has gone by, with growth in classes and tap awareness. What a year it's been with classes, students and a whole myriad of promo opportunities. Besides some continuous newspaper ops, we also got featured quite a few times on NTV7, RTM and Astro this year! And the 2007 new students intakes....a big round of applause to you all...wow..it's incredibly exciting to see such enthusiastic faces and learning energy from all of you!
With the good comes the bad of course...performance opportunities, though plentiful have come with *interesting* challenges...but all in the name of good experience I guess 
10 years baby....here's to another 10!!!

If you’ve ever wondered: What really IS tap dance? And what’s RHYTHM tap?
And if you’re thinking, “tap dance is so old-fashioned… I mean can you tap to music that’s on the radio??”
Then, you’ll need to attend this FREE workshop!
Come find out what you can learn about RHYTHM TAP and some basic moves in just ONE workshop! Yes, you’ll be leaving the workshop with basic tools for you to not just tap tap tap away BUT also do simple choreography!
We’ll also be featuring exciting tap demo performances by Kong Eu and his senior team: from the old-school and jazz stuff to choreography set to pop, hip/hop and other contemporary grooves!

Brand, Spankin' New Level 1 Class on Thurdays!
I've learnt that coordinating classes and schedules are one of the biggest challenges that I've often been entrusted with..and rightfully so, esp. with the increasingly complicated lifestyles that us urbanites lead these days
In light of that, we're pleased to announce a brand new class starting THURSDAYS (there have been requests for this day) as flws:
Venue: The Dance Space, Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas
Day: Thursday
Time: 7:30 - 8:30pm
Start Date: Sept 20, 2007
* Do note that our tap classes continue accepting enrollment after the start-date, up til a later notified date (ties-in with our teaching method). So do check with me if you wish to join but can't make it on Sept 20.

Every "Now and Then", we get together and jam!
Hey all,
 What a fun time it was at the recent jam on Fri, Aug 3! The Breakfast Show on NTV7 crew were there to film a segment and it was a blast with the reporter joining us for the opening jam!
Tappers...everytime you guys go out and present your classwork I get so much positive feedback from *others* (tappers from other classes or guests). You guys MUST know you're your worst critic, haha.
Anyway good job to all those who presented work and kudos to the host tappers' (Angie, Sue Ann, Jaq and Derrick) for coordinating a "look"
And a special tks for Melvin Ho for sharing his passion for Circlesong with the (vocally shy) tappers and guests

In conjunction with the exciting events this past month and which continue to unfold, the Rhythm Tappers @ Malaysia are pleased to announce a BRAND NEW beginners' Level 1 class! Details:
Day/Time: Wed, 8-9pm*
Start Date: class now open (pls call ahead to join)
Fees: Rm 80 per 4 consecutive classes
Venue: Havana Estudio, 34b Persiaran Zaaba, Taman Tun Dr Ismail.
*kindly arrive 30 min earlier for registration
PS. You won't need tap shoes when you come in. Will brief on options once you commence class
PPS. We still accept enrollment within the first few weeks of start of class. Tap is taught a little differently

Hi everyone,
IT'S TAP JAM TIME!
Just a quick reminder that jam is ON this Fri, 3 Aug at 8pm at Havana Estudio. There'll be some surprises (incl. surprise guests...!) this time. With a packed program, incl. Circlesong and a post-event Tappers Jam, it's gonna be one awesome night.
If you're thinking "what's Circlesong?" or "who r the surprise guests?", well then you gotta come find out!
